Meet Someren Glen’s Associate Executive Director, Christine Beson:
Christine has over 21 years of experience in leadership and management in a variety of roles, ranging from Activities Director, Assisted Living Administrator, Marketing and Admissions, and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. She has a degree in Music Therapy from the University of Kansas plus Administrative Continuing education from Southeast Community College.
Christine loves the balance of working with people, policies, regulatory agencies, budgets, families, residents, capital projects, associate engagement, plant improvements, all in one day. She brings positivity to Someren Glen’s high-energy team with the goal of improving the quality of life for residents.
Whether it is singing in the hall with a resident who seems troubled, bringing a smile out of a resident with dementia, or creating a meaningful moment while passing a meal tray, Christine uses her talents, her sense of humor, and her gift of gab to make others smile and encourages team member do the same.
