Pinnacle award for best customer experience of 2020

Posted: July 9, 2020

Someren Glen was recently awarded the 2020 Customer Experience Award from Pinnacle Quality Insight. This honor is awarded to the top 10% Skilled Nursing Communities in the United States. Only 14 communities in Metro Denver were awarded Pinnacle’s Best in Class Customer Service Awards. We are proud to be one of them.

Best In Class Senior Healthcare Services for 2020

Someren Glen’s Skilled Nursing community qualified for this distinguished award in the categories of Dignity and Respect and Recommend to Others based on our continued dedication to providing Best in Class senior healthcare services.

“Best in Class” is an award often associated with cars or travel. But when it comes to measuring success as a community for older adults, aspects such as dignity, caring, and respect become the standards we care most about. Executive Director Tim Roger’s is thrilled to have received this recognition, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic: “Our team has worked very hard each day to preserve the dignity and respect of each resident and rehab guest we serve in the midst of extraordinary restrictions. To see that residents, rehab guests and family members are pleased with our team’s efforts to preserve dignity and respect truly affirms our goal to distinguish Someren Glen as a Best in Class partner.”

Throughout our 40-year history of serving the Metropolitan Denver area, Someren Glen has placed a strong emphasis on ensuring that the individual needs of every resident are met. Over the course of 2019, a sampling of guests, residents, and their families have participated in monthly telephone interviews that include open-ended questions, as well the opportunity to rate us in specific categories.

Additionally, Someren Glen polls residents on the quality of their lives in their neighborhoods each month through the Pinnacle organization. We ask about the basics of dining and housekeeping, always working to keep these standards high. However, what matters most to us is the quality of our relationships with people. Our Leadership Team reads each survey for signs that reaffirm our extraordinary commitment to those we serve and to our core values of respect and compassion, as well as to look for ways we can improve.

My mother was at Someren Glen transitional care for 3 weeks after a prolonged hospital stay followed by rehab at other centers in the area. The staff at Someren Glen was very understanding and patient. They respected my mother and where she was at physically, giving her time to recover, while still giving her physical therapy. Greg, the lead physical therapist, was great, as was the entire nursing staff. The food was also great. Due to their efforts, she is back at her assisted care facility and doing wonderfully. I cannot say enough good things about Someren Glen.
